Crash Rated Bollards

Crash rated bollards prevent vehicles from intruding into sensitive areas. The Halvard line is engineered in Canada and certified in American testing facilities.

They are certified to ASTM F2656-20 SC40 P1 in American testing facilities. One of these bollards is enough to completely stop a 2430-pound vehicle traveling at 40 mph with less than 3.3 feet of penetration.

These crash-rated bollards ship pre-assembled and are simple to install with some rebar. Standard primer is used to help seal them against corrosion.

To increase aesthetics, the Halvard C40 Removable Crash-Rated Bollard is compatible with many of our 8" bollard covers, including stainless steel, decorative and plastic covers.
