R-8431 Fold Down Bollard

R-8431 fold-down bollards are practical bollards ideal for mixed-use areas as they can be locked upright to provide a highly visible barrier, yet can be quickly collapsed to offer access when necessary. With a thin rectangular silhouette, the R-8431 offers low-profile clearance when collapsed. Although svelte, this bollard maintains high visibility with its eye-catching bright yellow body and red top accent.

R-8431 collapsible bollards include internal locking mechanisms with no additional hardware required. Light-weight design ensures easy transport and operation. Fold-down mountings can be conveniently surface mounted to existing concrete surfaces.

We have a minimum order requirement of 5 pieces due to the high cost of freight. If you have special circumstances and need fewer, please give us a call. All Reliance Foundry bollards ship on a pallet for any quantity, so freight for small quantities is high.

EXECUTION

1. EXAMINATION
   1. Examine paving or other substrates for compliance with manufacturer’s requirements for placement and location of embedded items, condition of substrate, and other conditions affecting installation of bollards.
   2. Proceed with installation only after unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected.
2. INSTALLATION
   1. General: Comply with manufacturer’s installation instructions and setting drawings.
   2. Do not install damaged, cracked, chipped, deformed or marred bollards. Field touch-up minor imperfections in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. Replace bollards that cannot be field repaired.
3. CLEANING & PROTECTION
   1. Protect bollards against damage.
   2. Immediately prior to Substantial Completion, clean bollards in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions to remove dust, dirt, adhesives, and other foreign materials.
   3. Touch up damaged finishes according to manufacturer’s instructions.
